INSTORE SIGNING WITH ELIUD KIPCHOGE

An intimate in-store signing experience with Eliud Kipchoge at the Nike V&A store, offering a unique opportunity for consumers and fans to engage with one of the greatest marathon runners of all time, connect with the brand in a meaningful way, and create memorable, personal moments through storytelling, product interaction, and athlete inspiration.

An elevated athlete conversation between Caster Semenya and Eliud Kipchoge, designed to inspire and engage the running community, set the foundation for the experience. This was followed by a community-led shake-out run that helped establish the tone ahead of race day — bringing runners together in a shared space to connect, move with purpose, and gradually ease into the weekend’s activities. 

The session not only created an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and inspiration but also reinforced a sense of unity within the running community. The shake-out run became a moment of collective energy, allowing participants to build momentum, focus on final race-day readiness, and immerse themselves in the shared anticipation of what lies ahead. Together, these elements contributed to a cohesive and energizing lead-up to race day, rooted in connection, preparation, and community spirit.

CELEBRATION

Athletes had the opportunity to celebrate their personal bests and key running milestones at the Nike afterparty, which was hosted at one of the largest African contemporary art museums, the Zeitz MOCAA. The event created a vibrant and memorable atmosphere, bringing together runners and the broader community to reflect on their achievements, connect with one another, and close off the experience on a high note.
